Newsletter Terms

Effective from: 25 October 2026

1. Provider

  1. The newsletter is run by Adam Wolski, running a sole proprietorship under the business name Adam Wolski SEEDTech Academy, ul. Warszawska 40 lok. 2A, 40-008 Katowice, Poland, NIP (tax ID) 6462704744, REGON 529094224, entered in the Polish Central Register and Information on Business (CEIDG) (the "Provider").
  2. Contact: contact@praeteritusgame.com.

2. Definitions

  1. Site means the website praeteritusgame.com with the teaser of the game Praeteritus.
  2. Newsletter means the free e-mail service described in section 3.
  3. Subscriber means a person who signed up for the Newsletter and confirmed the sign-up.

3. The service

  1. The Newsletter consists of free e-mails with news about the game Praeteritus and the project: progress, new material, dates, and information on ways to support the project (for example a crowdfunding campaign or a membership on a service such as Patreon). Some e-mails may therefore be commercial information.
  2. E-mails are sent irregularly, no more than 4 times a month.
  3. The Newsletter is free. Subscribers bear only the usual cost of their own internet access.

4. Technical requirements

You need a device with internet access, an up-to-date web browser and an active e-mail address. E-mails may land in a spam folder; the Provider is not responsible for filters on the recipient's side.

5. No unlawful content

Subscribers must not provide unlawful content, in particular in replies to Newsletter e-mails.

6. Signing up (concluding the contract)

  1. To sign up, open the sign-up form with the "Get the news" button on the Site, enter your e-mail address, tick the consent box and submit the form with the "Sign me up" button. The address goes to the newsletter provider named in the Privacy Policy, which keeps the list and sends the news on the Provider's behalf.
  2. We send a message with a confirmation link to that address (double opt-in). The contract is concluded when you click the link. Without confirmation we send no news, and unconfirmed addresses are deleted after 30 days.
  3. The Newsletter is meant for people aged 16 or over. Younger people may sign up only with a parent's or guardian's consent.

7. Unsubscribing (ending the contract)

  1. Subscribers may unsubscribe at any time, without giving a reason and at no cost, by clicking "unsubscribe" in any e-mail or by writing to contact@praeteritusgame.com. The contract ends when you unsubscribe.
  2. A Subscriber who is a consumer may also withdraw from the contract within 14 days of concluding it without giving a reason, by writing to contact@praeteritusgame.com. The effect is the same as unsubscribing.
  3. The Provider may stop running the Newsletter after telling Subscribers by e-mail at least 14 days in advance. It may also remove an address that persistently bounces, or a Subscriber who breaches section 5.

8. Complaints

  1. Complaints about the Newsletter can be sent to contact@praeteritusgame.com, ideally with the subscribed e-mail address and a description of the problem.
  2. We answer by e-mail within 14 days of receiving the complaint.

9. Personal data

How we process Subscribers' personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Out-of-court dispute resolution

Consumers may use out-of-court dispute resolution bodies and, in Poland, free help from municipal or district consumer ombudsmen; see https://prawakonsumenta.uokik.gov.pl. The Provider does not undertake to take part in proceedings before an out-of-court consumer dispute resolution body.

11. Changes to these terms

  1. The Provider may change these terms for important reasons, in particular a change in the law, in the scope of the Newsletter or in the technical service providers used.
  2. We tell Subscribers about a change by e-mail at least 14 days before it takes effect. Anyone who does not agree may unsubscribe before that date.

12. Final provisions

  1. Polish law applies. This choice of law does not deprive consumers of the protection given by the mandatory rules of the country where they habitually live.
  2. These terms are available free of charge on the Site in a form that can be downloaded, saved and printed.
  3. These terms are effective from 25 October 2026.
